I remember walking through Pahar Ganji and Connaught Place in my first visit to Delhi in 1996. How many shops and sellers, how many interesting, nice, colourful, weird and funny things to keep occupied your field vision and all senses too!
Incenses, statues in all sizes and materials, gems, silver, gold, tons of jewellery, fabrics, clothes and the kitschiest objects and inventions you might ever think of.
I just wanted to buy everything and bring it back home! Those were the days when i started to think about the idea to open up a shop, or wholesale service, focused on buying material in India to sell in Europe. Since then long time has passed, and i feel very grateful to have been able to visit the beautiful land again more times. And then it happened - in one of my recent trips, i brought back with me various paintings that i really liked so much since the first moment i put my eyes on them...
... and now they are here for you too :o)
